Hello world and citizens inhabiting it,

Name is Derek Maldonado, and I write short stories. They range from two to twenty or so pages, covering a swath of genres from horror to basic slice-of-life stories; some might even rhyme. I plan on updating this page as much as possible (at least monthly) while I work on my prose and attempt to form some semblance of artistic ability. I have the same dream as everyone else, I assume, and that is to pay off my crippling debt one day and disappear to live on a houseboat with my pets in some far off and wonderful land (Puerto Rico preferably). Hope you enjoy what you read, and if not well hope you enjoy not enjoying it, or something.
